2019 “COATS FOR KIDS’ COLLECTION – NOV. 2ND & 3RD, 9TH & 10TH
The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring our 7th Annual “COATS FOR KIDS’ collection drive to benefit the children of our sister Parish, Visitation BVM, in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The collection will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 3rd, 9th, & 10th
Drop off items in the REC Room and the Narthex of the Church. The “COATS FOR KIDS” program accepts donations of winter clothing – coats, hats, gloves, sweater, etc. and distributes them to children in need. Since 2009, nationally the Knights have distributed more than 200,000 coats to children in need throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Please donate any new or lightly used winter clothing items you may have to help in our efforts. We also accept cash donations the proceeds of which are used to purchase winter clothing for the “COATS FOR KIDS” program.
