Even though Roe v Wade has fallen we still need to pray for an end to
abortion in all 50 states. Some states have already passed laws allowing abortion up to a mother’s due date. The PA House of Representatives passed HB1957 and other billsjust before Christmas. This and other bills will allow a PA Constitutional Amendment that will erase protections for the mother and child and will allow preborn babies to be aborted up to their due date. We need to pray and write letters to our Senators and Representatives and ask them to vote against this PA Constitutional Amendment change.
Many folks are not able to go to Washington, D C to attend the March for Life. Corpus Christi Parish Knights of Columbus Council 9715 and the Corpus Christi Pro Life Ministry have planned Days of Prayer and Witness close to home. Please join us for a Day of Prayer on Friday January 23 starting with 7:15 Mass followed by a day of Eucharistic Adoration until Benediction at 6 PM. A Rosary, Chaplet or Litany will be prayed/recited at each hour of the day followed by time for private prayer and reflection. The day of prayer will be live streamed on the Corpus Christi Website.
Please also join us as we Witness for Life Saturday Morning January 24 on the hill in front of Corpus Christi School from 10 AM to 1 PM near the Pro Life Crosses. The crosses represent the thousands of preborn babies lost to abortion. Prayers will be recited as we unite to pray and witness as people drive past along busy Sumneytown Pike. Please park in the church/school parking areas. Please feel free to bring a chair and/or blanket.
