Christmas in July

Join members of the Evangelization Team on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM in the Church RE Room as Matt Lendzinski leads our discussion of ‘Joy to the World’.

What could be more familiar than the Christmas story—and yet what could be more extraordinary? The cast of characters is strange and exotic. The strangeness calls for an explanation, and this book provides it by examining the characters and the story in light of the biblical and historical context. Christmas, as it appears in the New Testament, is the story of a father, a mother, and a child—their relationships, their interactions, their principles, their individual lives, and their common life.

To see the life of this “earthly trinity” is to gaze into heaven. Discounted copies of the book are available for cash/ check purchase in the Parish Office while supplies last. If you have any questions, please contact corpus.evangelization@gmail.com.

DeLacy, Vicar for the Archdiocesan Office for Ministry with Youth, will be facilitating an engaging, interactive presentation that will empower teens to enter into the Mass like never before! We will meet on Sunday, March 26th, in the Religious Education Room from 7:00 PM—9:00 PM. For more info, contact Danielle at corpus.ym@gmail.com
