Corpus Christi Parish sent 2 buses to Washington, DC on Friday, January 25, 2013 for the annual March for Life on the 40th Anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. Bitter cold and the threat of snow did not deter these brave 98 people from standing up for LIFE. We attended a beautiful Mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception celebrated by Archbishop Chaput and Monsignor Flanigan concelebrated along with many bishops and priests. We then went to downtown Washington where we marched to the Capitol and on to the Supreme Court and we offered up prayers for the end of abortion. Even with icy roads, we all arrived home safely. It was an excellent day.
