Scouting for food

Over 40 Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, parents and leaders from Pack and Troop 303, sponsored by Corpus Christi Parish, in Upper Gwynedd, gave up their Saturday morning on November 19, 2016, to collect food donations in the annual Scouting for Food collection.

Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors, the Scouts collected almost 1600 items of food and other household supplies (a 10% increase over 2015). To support a long-time ministry of Corpus Christi Parish, the chartering organization for both the Pack and the Troop, the food collection was donated to Norristown’s Patrician Society.

Passing of Jim McGovern

Mr. Jim McGovern, a beloved member of our school faculty passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Jim was a dedicated and loved member of the Corpus Christi Catholic School family for over 16 years.  He inspired many students over his career and will be deeply missed.  We ask that you please keep his wife Beth and his family in your prayers.
May eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him, may his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.
