March for Life 2015 Re-cap

Our annual participation in the “March For Life” in Washington, D.C. started with mass celebrated by Archbishop Chaput at the Basilca of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.  We joined in the march down Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court.  As usual, several hundred thousand people participated in the march.

Walking Toward Eternity – 8 week study starting Feb. 4

Walking Toward Eternity:  Engaging the Struggles of Your Heart, is an inspiring DVD series with Jeff and Emily Cavins designed to help participants live their faith more fully.  Through daily prayerful meditation with Scripture (Lectio Divina), you will be drawn into an intimate and life-changing encounter with Christ.  Engaging the Struggles of Your Heart is a challenging eight week study that introduces seven common struggles and obstacles in our Christian walk:  appetites, shame, envy, anger, fear, loneliness, and hopelessness.  Through prayer, reflection, guidance, discussion, and the aid of the Holy Spirit, we begin to engage these difficulties in a positive way as we continue toward our goal of union with Christ.  Journal cost is $16.00.   For more information about the study, contact our facilitator, Eileen Dowling at irisheileen@hotmail.com.

Please mail registration form and payment of $16.00 to secure your spot.
