Corpus Christi parishioner Tom Pellegrino recently became the 61st Eagle Scout from Boy Scout Troop 303, sponsored by Corpus Christi Parish.

The Eagle rank, as described by the Boy Scouts of America, is “a milestone of accomplishment—perhaps without equal—that is recognized across the country and even the world”.

Tom’s Eagle project was construction of a pergola in the parish Prayer Garden, including a bench.  His project also included weeding of several of the large flower gardens in the Prayer Garden.

Tom’s project was supported by over 137 hours of service by 37 volunteers.

Tom is a student at Lansdale Catholic High School, and a graduate of Corpus Christi School.

2019 “COATS FOR KIDS’ COLLECTION – NOV. 2ND & 3RD, 9TH & 10TH

The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring our 7th Annual “COATS FOR KIDS’ collection drive to benefit the children of our sister Parish, Visitation BVM, in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The collection will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 3rd, 9th, & 10th
Drop off items in the REC Room and the Narthex of the Church. The “COATS FOR KIDS” program accepts donations of winter clothing – coats, hats, gloves, sweater, etc. and distributes them to children in need. Since 2009, nationally the Knights have distributed more than 200,000 coats to children in need throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Please donate any new or lightly used winter clothing items you may have to help in our efforts. We also accept cash donations the proceeds of which are used to purchase winter clothing for the “COATS FOR KIDS” program. Join us for breakfast on Sunday, November 10, from 7:30 – 11:30am. Veterans will be honored with a free breakfast! Pancakes, omelets, coffee, juice, donuts.
